    White Owl Winery has been informed that several of their
    wines received awards, including a gold medal, in another
    international wine competition.
    Four wines took medals in the 17th Annual Indy
    International Wine Competition held the last weekend of
    June in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    The latest wines to take medals for White Owl Winery are:

     Cherry Pie                           Bronze
     Spiced Pear                         Bronze

     More than 4,000 wines were entered from around the
     world.  The judging panel was comprised of 73 wine
     expert, including wine-makers, wine writers, educators,
     sommeliers and enologists.  It is considered one of the
     most prestigious wine competitions in the world.

Illinois State Fair

     We're delighted and very pleased, said winery founder
     Joy Neighbors. To win the Best Of Class category twice
     with our two gold medal wines, is very satisfying. We owe
     it all to our wine-maker, Brian Neighbors and his assistant,
     Fred Tromely,  for their hard work and exceptional wine
     crafting skills.

     White Owl Winery received more good news this week.
      Once again, the winery from Birds, Illinois has been
     notified that they have received more medals in an
     international wine competition. This time seven of their
     wines took medals in the 37th Annual Amenti del Vino
     Wine Competition held last week in Cromwell,
     Connecticut.

     Great Lakes Wine Competition

     White Owl Winery, near Birds, Illinois, has just been
     notified that three of their wines have taken medals in the
     13th Annual Great Lakes Great Wine Competition held
     two weeks ago in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Gold Medal Wine
Served At California Event

    White Owl Winery’s gold medal winning Watermelon wine
     will be featured at the 93rd Annual National Orange Show
     in San Bernardino, California this weekend.Because this
     wine scored enough points to be awarded a gold medal in
     the 23rd Annual Pacific Rim International Wine
     Competition last month, it is one of only 290 wines to be
     poured at the Wine Pavillion.

    The latest wine to take a medal for White Owl Winery was
     Snowy White.   “We’re delighted and very pleased,” said
     winery co-owner Joy Neighbors.  “This is the second
     Silver medal for the Snowy White this spring!” Over
     2,600 wines were evaluated during the two day event.

     Finger Lakes International Wine Competition held March
     29 & 30 at Rochester, New York.

     San Diego Wine Competition

    White Owl Winery, Birds, Illinois, has just been notified
     that their SWEET LIBERTY wine has taken a medal in
     the 25th Annual San Diego International Wine
     Competition held two weeks ago in San Diego, California.
     According to winery co-founder, Joy Neighbors. ““We’re
     delighted and very pleased!  This is only the second
     contest for the Sweet Liberty to be entered in and it’s won
     a Silver medal in both!”
